（中央社記者康世人新德里20日專電）印度執政的印度人民黨（BJP）秘書長馬達哈夫（Ram Madhav）今天請中華民國駐印度代表處轉交賀函，祝賀民進黨主席蔡英文成為台灣首位女總統並盼兩黨未來加強合作。
馬達哈夫在親筆賀函中表示，台灣人民選出蔡英文成為首任女總統，創造了歷史，相信蔡英文上任後，一定能為台灣人民帶來幸福，同時也為區域帶來和平穩定。
他並在賀函中說，印度人民黨很期待與民主進步黨在未來加強合作與交流，增進台印關係。
